why

because showing pictures to grandma who lives 3000 miles away sucks when you're trying to coordinate your clicks on flickr. plus all that other stuff on the page is distracting & confusing.

how it works

a greasemonkey script pulls the url of whatever image i am looking at on flickr

refreshes automatically to show whatever image i am looking at

to do

• change backend to wsgi and add authentication
• edit generated webpage to include link back to the flickr site (this is necc. for flickr's tos i think? need to pass the page url along with the photo url)
• configuration page with greasemonkey interaction

greasemonkey awareness

• warning when your browsing is being monitored
• on/off button
  • might be nice to change the display a bit when it's off
• add some sort of timeout
